What is Zen 12 Program?
This is a meditation program that is designed to help you meditate better, faster and give you all the benefits you get from an hour’s worth of deep meditation in just 12 minutes.
It is currently the best meditation program on the web and I highly recommend using it. I’ve personally been using it and seen the great benefits it promises.
It uses brainwave entrainment to make all this happen.
Brainwave entrainment is simply the process through which you use sound frequencies to induce different states of the mind like focus, meditation, calmness, relaxation, peace, happiness, sleep and all that.
And what happens here is that, the brain is studied when it is in different states. There are waves in your brain that show the various feelings you are experiencing.
They are captured using advanced brain technology machines and then transformed into sound frequencies, which are made into audios, like this zen 12 program.
When you listen to the audio, the frequencies in the audio influence the patterns in the waves of your brain. Your brain takes up the waves and moves in those patterns which help you achieve the state the frequencies are made for.
In this case, you brain will be stimulated to get into higher states of meditation.
How Zen 12 Works
Well, the program comes in 48 Mp3 audio series with 12 levels which you are to do for 12 months. They will help you start meditating, train your mind to easily do it and by the end the of the 12 month course, you should be an experienced, advanced meditator.
Within the 48 audios, there are 4 styles, which you are to choose from. The creators understand that people like meditating in different ways.
There are those who like to be guided by a voice in the background, those who like to do it themselves, those who like white noise and those who like to meditate in open places with natures sounds like waterfall, windy mountains, and calm night, to mention a few.
Now, you get to choose and work with the style you like as you get these 4 styles.
• Relaxation Music – This helps you calm down and be at peace when you are meditating.
• Nature Sounds – Gives you a wide range of nature sounds including chirping of countryside birds, brook babbling and others to help you feel like you are actually in those environments.
• Guided Meditation – You get someone to walk you through the entire meditation period and help you learn and master how to do it best on your own.
• White Noise – Gives you the perfect sound to help you gather your thoughts in one place and meditate without distractions. Good for folks living in the city.
So, I believe you now understand how it works. 48 audios, 4 styles. This means, 12 audios for every style which should be used for 12 months. That is one audio for a month to help you get your brain well patterned.
How to Use Zen 12 Meditation Program
Well, there is no much science here. All you have to do is, choose the style you prefer and work with it.
Take just 12 minutes of your every morning, play the audios and plug in the headphones. After that, based on what you have chosen, zen 12 will take it from there.
Who Shouldn’t Use Zen 12
While this program is great and effective for meditation, not everyone gets to use it.
And this is the same case with all other programs which use brainwave entrainment.
This entrainment is not safe for all people as it deals with the brain, which is a very sensitive organ.
Those who are discouraged from using zen 12 are those:
• Who suffer from epilepsy to help avoid the possibilities of trigerring seizures
• Who aren’t 18 years old and above because of mental strength
• Who will be using it while driving
• Who will be using it while running dangerous machines
• Who have had brain injuries or serious mental conditions
What is Included in the Program
There are some other resources included, which come together with the program when you make your purchase, to help you have an easy time working things out.
These resources are:
• The entire Zen 12 library – This comes with the 48 audio series, with all 4 styles for 12 months.
• User Manual – This helps you know more about the engineering behind zen 12, more about brainwave entrainment and how to make the most out of the program.
• Quick Start Guide – Helps you learn how to get started and proceed without any hiccups.
• Lifetime Support – You get a direct email address to get immediate assistance from the creators, and they are super fast in replying. Trust me on this.
Bonus Gifts
You also receive 2 bonus gifts, which include:
1. The secret art of self development – This is a book that teaches you how to change yourself into the person you’d like to be, little by little and without too much hassles. There is also an audio version of it.
2. The 18 Rules of Happiness – Another book to help you learn how to be always genuinely happy. There is also an audio version.

I really like the sound of Zen 12 audio program. It’s great to find a meditation audio that’s new and ground breaking. Can you really get level 1 for free? That seems like a good deal. Is there also some sort of payment plan or do you need to buy it outright? Either way 48 Mp3 audio series with 12 levels is a good deal.

This sounds like a great tool for beginners to start meditation. I believe everyone should enjoy a 10-15 minute meditation as needed and your program sounds like it helps keep the mind from being distracted as it usually does. The brainwaves are an effective piece to get your mind in zen. I am intrigued and the product is at a great price. I will definitely give it a try and recommend as w! Thank you!
You are very welcome Elizabeth.
Do spread the good news to others.
Will have to check this out! I am trying to get into meditation, and don’t really know where to start. The nature sounds seems like the route I would go. Does the zen 12 come with a quick starter guide of sorts? Or do I need to figure all of this out myself? Thanks for the review!
Hey Joe,
Yes, zen 12 does come with a quick start guide as well as a user manual and the beginner style called guided meditation where you are walked through everything.
I recommend you read the manual and the guide. It will be of great help. It will show you around the system and help you make the most of it.
This is interesting I’ve never heard of this. When it says Zen meditation, is it actually from Zen buddhism? I practice Vipassana meditation and they say usually not to mix practices so I wonder how this would work as I could use some more benefits for the brain. Thanks for the info.
Hey Vandana,
This zen 12 name is just a brand name but the product itself is not for any specific kind of meditation, except for the guided meditation style tracks.
The rest are simply there to improve the quality of your meditation sessions, no matter which they are. So don’t worry about the name.
Brain Power was the first thing I read which got my attention here, mainly because the brain and the workings of the mind truly fascinates me.
I would love to be able to properly meditate as I know the huge benefits one gains from it but each time I’ve tried it, I’ve fallen asleep and that’s obviously not supposed to happen. Would a beginner be able to use this meditation?
Hey mate,
The beauty of zen12 is the technology behind it.
When you listen to the tracks, your whole brain will be altered and taken to deep meditative state that won’t get you asleep.
In fact, it will keep your wakefulness at its best.
And yes, a beginner can use this program especially the guided meditation style. It is the best for starters.
Hmmmm …. not exactly the kind of product I would resort to for relaxation. Or is it? Is meditation a form of relaxation or a means to shake off stress?
You mentioned a lot of long term benefits with the use of Zen 12 such as peacefulness and calmness and it also boosts your moods. Perhaps I should try it because of my frequent mood swings lately.
Hey Alice,
Perhaps you should listen to the free level 1 of zen 12. Prefarably listen to the relaxation music style and you will be able to make up your mind once you are done.
This will help you a lot.
This is a very interesting product. When looking for mediation that works, this definitely seems like something I want to try. This is very detailed and answers almost all of my questions. I do have one question for you though, Could you possibly explain more of the long term benefits of this meditation? I’m hoping to hear from you soon, I’m definitely interested in buying this product.
Thank you.
Hey Aaron,
On the long term, zen 12 is going to help you boost your overall brain power, become much more peaceful and calm, as well as help you master your emotions.
Being a professional hypnotist for the past 5 years, I am very aware of brainwave entertainment and used it effectively in my practice as well as recommended it to my clients. I am also very familiar with Zen 12 as well as inspire3 all awesome programs.
Zen 12 in particular is a great tool for those hoping to utilize meditation to improve just about any area of their life. You have described it just as it really is.
Keep
Thanks for stopping by, Dr. Carl. 🙂
I’ve been an avid meditator for many years, it is a gift I give to myself every day. However, I am always looking for new and improved ways of meditating.
This review has me very interested and the pricing is excellent value.I feel sometimes I need more structure to my meditations and the zen 12 looks like it would give that opportunity.
Thanks for the interesting insight, it is much appreciated
Paul
You are always welcome Paul.
Thank you, Dave, for sharing this review on Zen12 meditation program. Going by your review, it seems this program is going to be beneficial to beginners as well as experienced meditators.
I see you’ve mentioned getting benefits from this program. Could you explain how long have you been using this program and what ways this program has helped you and changed your life?
Hey Carthik,
I have been on this program for months.
And if there is a program I can tell you has been of great help, it is this one.
I think the benefits really depend on the individual meditating, but overall, everyone who has used it has been very greatful for it and I have seen no complaints about it thus far.
This system is awesome, I just can’t describe it enough.
I like to meditate a lot, it is really relaxing. You talked about the 4 styles in the 48 audio clips , I prefer calm music on the background but I would like to know the various durations of the clips.
I have in past listened to an hour long meditation and it was very soothing, hope the Zen12 is equally same.
Thanks a lot for your review.
Hey there,
Zen 12 is also very soothing, perhaps more than the one hour meditation music you listened to. 🙂
They are very great. You should listen to first level of the relaxation music style, which is free to get the idea of its profundity.
Hey Dave,
I was looking for a program just like this.
I want to start meditating and the guided meditation style is going to help me start this off at a good footing. Thanks a lot for the information.
It has helped me understand the program very and realize it is the right one for me
Well done. Wishing you great success.
Thanks a lot Amin,
I also wish you great success with your meditation. Good luck.
This post is useful to me as I meditate myself and I’m now interested in this program. The post is presented well with using images of the program and different font sizes. You have done a lot of research into the program and made a thorough explanation of it. Well done!
I’m delighted to have helped that much, Oliver.
wow I had no clue this thing existed! It looks like it could work … 50$ discount is a lot too (since I am a broke student it is really helpful)! I go through hard anxiety attacks approximately twice a year, and I see how this could be useful…. I’ll give it a try.
Thanks fo sharing!
You are welcome Anna. 🙂
Zen 12 sounds very interesting. I like to meditate to a 15 minute guided meditation each morning. Today I did a 30-minute meditation on the beach. I firmly believe it is helping me to feel less stressed, happier, and will help me to reach my goals. This type of website is so important not only to individuals but to our society. I feel like we as a nation are at a crossroads. If more people meditated we would have a much more peaceful nation.
You are right,
People need to meditate to improve their peace and well being. It will help us feel more at peace with ourselves and with others.
Mediation is something i took up last year and consider it a part of my life now. This program looks very cool and might br worth a look later down the track or even as a gift. How do you find it? Do you think the price is warrented for something that cna be done and learned on your own? or is there real value to be gained here?
Hey Cris,
Zen 12 is something you want to have when you are meditating. There is so much value to be gained.
It sets the pace for you to meditate effectively, block out all the distraction that would otherwise get in the way and even improve your mental experience of meditation as well.
Improving the experience of meditation is what made me love it the most. And the styles are deep and efficient.
If you compare it to other systems or meditating plainly, you will see a huge difference, and how great it really is.
Try it out and see for
I know a handful of people that use mediation daily and they do seem to be calmer and easy through their day in comparison to other people around them.
That has caught my attention, but I really know nothing about meditation.
I just read your review on Zen 12 Meditation and I think this might just be a great way to get started, because I want that same peace and harmony in my life!
Brendon
Hey Brendon,
Meditation does help a lot especially if you feel you are always uneasy and stressed, or have any conflict in your ki
For you, I would encourage using the guided meditation style to start with, it is going to come in hady for you as a starter.
And then when you get the gist of it, you can go for other styles like nature sounds and relaxation music.
Hey Oscar,
What a good review! This is just what I am looking for!
Our mind is a very unique organ which is proven to be emmitting 6 distinct types of brainwaves, with intensity differs depending on our activity at that time. I read reports about tuning its frequency can create amazing results in boosting intelligence, focus and overall health.
I definitely would love to try Zen 12! Cheers!
-Wilson
Sweet, Wilson!
You should defintely try it out. You are going to fall in lobe with the experience.
Ihow ye
Great article. I do believe in the power of meditation. For years I did chance and meditations. And in the long run I was able to manifest some very interesting things in my life. So I know that it does work. I just happened to get away from it for a while somehow. And I had forgotten until I read this article that I used to do that. I will be continuing my meditations in the future. Thank you for this great reminder.
Awesome Michelle!
It is great to hear the success you have had with meditation.
And you are welcome for remembering about it through this article.
I’m glad I found this article. I’ve been so stressed lately and a friend, whose opinion I trust very much, recommended meditation and yoga.
Yoga takes up time, but it’s exercise that I should be doing anyway so it’s fine.
I don’t have to meditate for hours, so when I saw the part about getting an hour’s worth of meditation in 12 minutes, it caught my attention. Thanks for the great read.
You are welcome Shaun,
I wish you a happy meditation time.
i never knew there was a program that could do this. So do you have to use a certain CD depending on what type of mood you want to be in that day or is it better to listen in order? Also Does the mental illness include being bi-polar because i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and not sure if this would be good for me or not. Over all i love your explanation of this program i enjoy learning about meditation.
Hey there,
If you are a person who often have shifts in moods, I would recommend you use the relaxation music style to help you calm you down and keep you peaceful and relaxed.
You can still use it if you are bipolar, it will help reduce the symptoms. And thanks for the nice comment.
I am glad I was helpful.
I was curious how many songs or playlists that you get with the $37 purchase of Zen 12.
Also, I was wondering why people who have had serious head injuries are discouraged from using this program?
Possible negative side-effects?
I’m always in the market for improving creativity and boosting focus!
Hey Dom,
As I said, there are 48 CDs in total. Out of them all, there are 12 CDs for 4 styles.
That is, 12 CDs for guided meditation to use for 12 months. Then there are other 12 CDs for the other three styles which are white noise, relaxation music and nature sounds. Each style has 12 CDs and you get to use one CD per month.
So choose the style you love and work with it.
For the the second question, I have highly discouraged people who have had brain injuries from using it because it will bring more mental issues.
The system alters the state of your mind, and it may be dangerous for someone who has had their mind affected by an illness or an injury as their mind is very w
Even though there are others who got injuries and were treated and are seeing good results with it, it would be best to avoid it if you have not gotten completely well.
I hope the mist is cleared now.
I enjoyed your review of Zen 12. I agree that it is hard to find an hour or two to try and relax and meditate. This sounds like a great way to do it in 12 minutes. This is something I could manage. You mentioned using it for 12 months. After 12 months would you start at the beginning and repeat the process? And do you have to do it daily or can you use it 3-4 times a week?
Hey Leslie,
When you are done you can always do it from the beginning again. And about the frequency, you should use it whenever you are meditating.
If you meditate daily, you can use it daily but if you meditate 3 to 4 times a week, then that is when you should use it.
Hi Oscardave!
I meditate quite a bit and I never knew there were certain individuals who shouldn’t meditate on different levels. That is very good to know!
I think more testimonies should be posted! I like to read other testimonies so I can get a better view of who’s using the produce and how they are feeling about it.
Hey Pamela,
I will try to get more testimonials for you. But generally, the program is great and is the only one which gives the whole entrainment CDs course for the 4 best styles of meditation.
That is why I recommend it, hey have put in a lot of effort and sell it for a very affordable price. These guys are just into helping people, not after the money.
I hope this helps.
What an amazing read! The benefits from meditation are definitely profound. 12 minutes of meditation for an hour of deep sleep? That sounds awesome. I’ve heard about Zen 12, but I was skeptical because the price point seemed a bit too high for me. I’m interested into meditating and I think I would need to utilize a guided meditation, which Zen 12 offers! Thanks for such a great review 🙂
You are always welcome Derek.
This is very interesting indeed. Ive been meditating for about a year now and tried a few different variations but never heard of this system nor the language that it uses, such as brain entratainment. Is this relatable to transcindental mediation where a mantra is given that you recite over and over or would the effects be different? Both systems peak my curiousity but transcindental seems fairly pricey and exclusive.
Hey Chris,
Zen 12 is not like transcendental meditation, it helps you do this kind of meditation by getting you into deep meditative states to give you a good meditation experience.
The thing is brainwave entrainment helps you get quality experience from your meditation sessions by influencing your brain to feel like it is meditating. This way you will be able to get more meditation benefits much faster.
In short, zen 12 uses brainwave entrainment which will enhance your meditation sessions. It is not a meditation practice. I hope this is clear now. 🙂
Good morning to you. Your article was very interesting and informative. Naturally I’ve heard of mediation before but I’ve never heard of Zen 12 or brain entrainment.
The list of benefits is long and impressive. You mentioned a wide range of health benefits. Could you expand a little more on the specific types health benefits?
Thanks for sharing and I’ll be waiting for your answer about the types of health benefits.
Hey Robert,
The health benefits of zen 12 are huge and are more felt than can be explained. 🙂
The major effect you will feel which is super cool is being very calm but very alert and wakeful to what is happening around you.
You also feel relaxed but in perfect touch with the environment and your surroundings. And then the other health benefits revolve around these awesome states.
I think you will have to listen to it to see exactly what I am saying, with the heaviness of the words I am using.
I hope this has been helpful.
I can testify to this program, Zen 12 meditation, that it really works.
I am using it myself and have achieved, just one example, to reduce and almost eliminate procrastination.
Yes, I was really so bad with this issue but now, I do stick to my goal set almost every time.
I do highly recommend it!
Thank you Sylvia for sharing your experience with Zen 12. It is great to hear you are seeing results with it.
Hello, and thank you for the info you’re putting out regarding this product.
I admit I’m generally skeptical about this kind of stuff, but, it does sound like a great deal, provided it works.
Also, seeing your responses to all the questions adds a level of trust.
I have always desired the benefits of meditation, but, I have failed at it before.
So, I would like to ask: Would listening regularly be all I need to do in order to see results?
And, is there a satisfaction guarantee and refund policy in place?
Thanks!
Hey Edwin,
Yes, you only have to listen through it as you meditate to get the results. There is a guarantee and refund policy, and you can easily get detailed information on these on the main website.
You can read them as you check out.
Have a fantastic day.
Thank you for sharing your review. I have sleep apnea and was suggested to use a form of mediation to improve my sleep quality so I really do appreciate it. You’ve provided a wealth of information and look forward to trying them out. Its very new to me so but willing to try this to sleep better and wake up well rested.
Hey Prophese,
Youu can also use sleep salon for you particular case, it fits very nicely with your condition and it works more like zen 12.
Hope this helps. 🙂
Wow, appreciate all the info Dave!
Meditation is something I struggle with as it can be hard to find the time to pull away from all the chaos and get into the zone. We just had our first baby so I do not have too much down time available. Definitely going to be looking into the Zen12 method! Thanks!!
You are always very welcome mate.
It is really interesting to have such a program. I have been meditating for now 23 years in the silent tradition, which is fine for me, but I would have be interested to see how it feels like. Why does someone under 18 haven’t the necessary mental strength? Wouldn’t you recommend it for students for example ?
Thank you very much for all this information.
Kind regards,
Françoise
Hey Françoise,
The thing is, not all students have a problem with this system. It is just that there are students who don’t get the benefits as their bains have not gained enough mental strength to withstand the power of the wave frequencies.
And this ends up making them have bad experiences with such programs. If u are super determined to have it for your son or daughter, I would recommend you check with a doctor first.
Great review, Thanks.
There is one thing I did not get – you say about 12 months – is it a membership?
I mean what happens after 12 months, I will have to pay another $xx for next 12 months?
And did I understand correctly, that I can listen for some samples before I decide to buy?
Thank you, it is really good review.
Hey Andrey,
It is not a membership program. You will be getting tracks for a whole 12 months all for the same listed price, you won’t have to pay anything else for zen 12 after you have made your purchase.
I ope this is clear.
Hi, Dave,
This is very good products review. I am interesting at the products, Z 12 meditation. It sounds like a yoga with music treatment , isn’t it? People will get much more benefits from the 12 minutes listening per day. The sound of music work with brain waves bring good results for people health. I would like to try sometime. Is this free download whole sections from your website?
Sophiafang
Hey Sophia,
It feels pretty much ike it. And you get to have level 1 of the system completely free.
Sounds like a powerful program, and if it leads to improved motivation, better blood pressure control or improved decision making, it is a great investment. I am curious what changes YOU have experienced with it, and how long it took to see a difference? Did you find that it had specific health effects? In your case, what were they?
Hey Steve,
The benefits I have listed above are exactly what you will be seeing. The other effects I felt are pretty much self explanatory. And I am sure you will see this when you start using it. 🙂
The time it takes to feel the effects is somewhere from 4 minutes to 5 minutes. But this depends on many factors which are usually personal. But it should not take more than 5 minutes before you start feeling the difference.
Since using the Zen-12 system. what benefits have you seen in yourself personally? How long have you been using it? Based on your experience and knowledge of the system, do you know how it works with those that have PTSD in terms of being able to sleep and relax? I have clients with this diagnosis and would love to have something like this that could really help them reduce their stress levels. Have there been any studies done with this product on specific disorders?
Hey Lisa,
Since I started using zen 12, I have been much calmer and controlled in terms of emotions. I also feel this inner peace and harmony as well as a sense of well being which I didn’t have before.
There are also may other areas in my life that have been improved by this system like wakefulness and bliss , and a lot more others which are self explanatory.
About the studies done on it, there is 100 years of scientific study in the method of brain improvement it uses. You will see the whole study in the main website. Be sure to read it. 🙂
If you only ant to meditate, this program is the best for you. But if you want a system that will help you relax and sleep better, I strongly recommend you use sleep salon. It is the best for sleep and woors just as efficiently as zen 12.
This sounds like a very interesting program and I really appreciate that you have explained how it works and how it was created. It almost sounds like they reverse engineered the brain! At one point you mentioned CD’s, so I just wanted to double check…is this program available as a download online so that you get immediate access to it?
Hey Krsiten,
The 48 main tracks are in mp3 format. So you will get mmediate access to them once you have checked out.
But there are also books and CDs which come with it. These will be sent to you.
Dave, about the books and CD’s sent, I live in Mexico 7 months out of the year. Mail for hard copies is notoriously bad. Can’t these be downloaded in MP 3 and PDF form? Thanks, Jim
Hey there again,
If you would like to get the pdf version of the books and downloads for the cds, you can contact the support and they will direct you on how to go about it.
The support for zen 12 is usually very fast.
If you get any problems doing this, you can let me know and I’ll see how I can help. 🙂
But contact them first and see what they tell you.
I’ll be waiting.
Cheers.
Zen 12 seems like a fantastic way to become more at peace with ones self. I love how you show the benefits of the course from all angles not just from a physical side. The added sounds remind me of a time I went to a meditation retreat and became at peace with myself.
Thank you for your sweet comment Dagda. Zen 12 sure is
Hi Dave,
Great article!
It’s been a while now that I want to do meditation, but I didn’t know where to start. I’ve been told that there are many types of meditation, so I was a bit confused about it. Also, I don’t have much patience and time to sit more than half an hour:) This zen meditation takes only 12 minutes, that’s awesome! It will save me a lot of time!
Just a question, please. Do you suggest practicing every day to get a good result?
Thank you in advance!
Hey Daniella,
You don’t have to do it everyday. It is recommended you use when you are meditating. This means, if you meditate daily, then you should use it daily. If it is for a certain number of days, you should use it then.
If it was up to me, I would say you meditare daily with it, if you can, as you will get to enjoy its benefits on a daily basis. 🙂
Have a lovely day.
Hi Dave,
The statement you made in your “About Me” page “The super conscious mind exists and is available to every one of us. You only need to tap into it and let it flow” peaked my curiosity.
Figuring out how to tap into it, so that I can become the person that I’d like to be has been a challenge for me. I’ve had some small successes after listening to several meditation tapes and reading the book “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” by Dr. Joseph Murphy.
I will also be using zen 12 to see if it can help improve the quality of my meditation sessions. Thanks a lot for this by the way.
Also, ou mentioned that you’ve developed an exceptionally strange way of talking. What exactly did you mean by that statement (e.g., you speak more intelligently, your vocabulary has expanded, etc.)?
Hey Chandra,
You are welcome and I am sure you will love the great meditative effect you are going to get with zen 12.
About the strange way of talking, I have come to see my consciousness hike and my perception of things go deeper.
And this has made my words change too, in the sense of the heavy words I now use, the proper explanation of things in a structured order and ability to understand and solve really difficult problems.
I hope this helps. 🙂
Hi Dave,
This sounds like a great program for all meditators out there. I am a meditator myself, and can see how many advantages this could have!
Although this sounds great, what is the difference between this and free mindfulness apps?
I will definitely look into this further!
Thanks,
Sophie
Hey there,
There is a huge difference between zen 12 and the free mindfulness and meditation apps out there.
First, it has brainwave entrainment, which helps you get easily into deep meditative states which makes your meditation even better and rewarding.
Second, there are tracks for a whole year which will train your brain to always get into the deep relaxed yet highly alert state naturally when you are meditating.
The free apps only entertain for a while but they don’t offer as much value as zen 12. Hope you now
This sounds like an awesome program!
As someone who would like to learn to feel more relaxed as well as boosting creativity and overall mood, I am definitely now interested in giving this a try after reading your review!
I think $87 is a great price for this considering the amount of content that comes with it as well as the quality but for $37, I will be sure to check this out
My question is, what part of this system did you enjoy the most in terms of relaxing and improving your overall mood?
Hey Arie,
The relaxation music version and the nature are the ones that did it for me. I would also encourage you to use then for hiking your moods and getting you super relaxed.
Cheers.
I meditate daily using a app but it’s really hard to focus. I personally like having a voice guide me but now that I think about it I never had the chance to experience any other type of meditation. Brain wave meditation sounds exciting and scary at the same time. I am actually worried if its safe around animals and children.
Hey Brandon,
You don’t need to worry. As far as you use it as instructed and as I have shown you in the post, you won’t have any problems.
If you also make sure you don’t give it to your children, if they are below 18 years, you can be sure things will go well.
Hey Dave ,
Will this app help me increase the quality of daily sleep
Hallo there Pratik,
Nice to have you here. 🙂
Well, Zen 12 is all about improving your meditation experience and helping you relax. This, on the long run, can help you improve your sleep.
However, I would highly recommend you check out Sleep Salon.
It is the best fit for you in helping you sleep.
Hope this answers your question.
If you need more help, please let me know. 🙂
Best Wishes,
Dave
Hi Dave,
I am definitely going to look into Zen 12. I’ve been hearing for years now how good meditation is and I still haven’t tried it.
I think what’s holding me back is the fact that I don’t think I am doing it correctly.
Which is where Zen 12 comes in. And the $50 discount doesn’t sound bad either.
I’m hoping it will help me relax and improve my creativity. What I’ve been in search of for a while is clarity on what I want out of life and I’m hoping meditation is going to teach me how to do it.
But first I need to learn how to meditate right?
Thanks for sharing,
Diana
Sure Diana,
You need to be perfectly sure you are doing it properly so that you are able to get the benefits it offers.
And the guided meditation version will help you with that.
Zen 12 will help you relax and feel energized after each session.
And if you are consistent with it, you will definitely see a boost in your clarity.
You are also welcome. Have a great day. 🙂
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your efforts and sharing all this information. This really looks like something I need in my life right now and I downloaded the free trial. I’ve never done meditation before and being an over thinker my mind is constantly on the go.
I listened to the relaxation music trial and definitely felt at peace but it was hard to stay focused.
What is best way to get the most benefit from listening to these?
Any advise would be appreciated 🙂 thank you
Hey Shrestha,
I recommend making yourself comfortable before you start using it. And you can try things like wearing loose clothing, drinking a glass of water and sitting in a place where there is fresh flowing air.
After that, I would like you to use the guided meditation style that gives you a great walkthrough of the meditation.
Follow everything you are told to do and participate in it with your whole mind and heart. Connect with the words you are listening to and then see that you deeply visualize everything.
This worked for me, and I am sure it will work great for you too.
I hope this has helped. 🙂
It did, thank you! 🙂 Have a good day.
Great!
I am happy I helped. 🙂
Hi,
I was originally looking to purchase Equasinc? until I saw your reviews. I also had written to the owners and developers to get some more information about a specific problem but I never heard back. Your review also mentioned another group, but you seem to like this one more than anything, do you happen to own some shares in this company.
My question is, can and how would this help people with addictions.
Thanks a bunch.
Hey Cathy,
I don’t own any shares of zen 12. 🙂
I have only compared the two products and found this one to be the best of the two. If you also consider the price and what you’ll be getting, you’ll see why I recommend Zen 12.
As for dealing with addictions, I don’t recommend you use zen 12 as this program has been mainly designed for meditation, as it is with equisync.
If you really want to overcome addictions of any kind, I would recommend you use either subliminal guru store or hypnosis live store. They will help you get solutions for the kind of addiction you want to fight.
Hope I’ve been clear enough. 🙂
It’s a pity they only offer you to try 2 of their tracks as a free sample. I personally don’t like any fancy music or sounds when meditating. Since I could only try the relaxation music and the guided version, which I didn’t like too much (music distracted and annoyed me, so also didnt feel much positive effects afterwards) , it’s hard to evaluate if this is “right” for me.
Also the claim that it has “the effects” of one hour of meditation seems a bit exaggerated or more like a marketing gag to me… At least I felt that the 12 minutes were too short to really feel anything, but the fact that the music distracted me probably added to that.
What if you want to meditate longer than 12 minutes, is there any option for that with this program?
Other than that it really seems like a good deal, especially the price.
Hey Fran,
You are right. Sometimes the guided meditation version and the relaxation music version can be quite distracting. That’s why I advise you to try out the white noise version for reducing distractions and helping you gather your thoughts well enough to go deep into your meditation. It is really awesome.
When it comes to the length of the meditation, the only length they have worked with for all the versions is 12 minutes. The thing is, the idea of zen 12 is to help you enjoy the benefits of meditation even when you are busy, that is why they have narrowed it down to 12 minutes.
Although, you can use it to meditate for more than 12 minutes by playing it on repeat mode. You can adjust your media setting and set it to repeat itself automatically, and you won’t even know it is repeating itself.
About the effects of zen 12 measuring up to one hours meditation, I would say it depends.
Zen 12 is able to bring you such deep effects if you are willing to put in all your concentration and mind into the actual practice. The system is high quality and if you invest high quality effort into it, you will surely get highly quality effects in return.
I hope I have answered all your questions. 🙂
If you have more, please leave them below and I will get back to you the soonest.
Do you think or have knowledge that Zen 12 use will also help in remote influencing?
Hey Jim,
Zen 12 is purely based on brainwave entrainment which will be improving your mind state and helping you with meditation, relaxation amd other states around these two.
As for remote influencing, I cannot say that the actual program will teach you that, but you can use zen 12 to do remote influencing, if you know it well. Zen 12 will help you be productive and concentrate while doing the technique but it doesn’t show you how to do it.
So it is more like an aid.
I hope I have answered your question.
Cheers 🙂
Thanks for your prompt reply. You confirmed my suspicions that Zen12 would be an aid.
Yes it is Jim,
And it is also a good meditation guide for beginners.
I’m happy I have cleared the doubts for you.
Cheers. 🙂
Hello
Do you use Zen 12 Meditation yourself? If so, I would be interested to hear what results you have had and in what amount of time.
Cheers
Hey there,
It is nice to see you are really interested in knowing what zen 12 is. 🙂
And it seems like you typed the same question twice. Maybe you had another question you wanted help with?
You can still ask me in the comments section.
You are always welcome. 🙂
Hi there.
I am interested in your Zen 12 Meditation program. Have you used it yourself and if so, how has it effected your meditation?
Cheers
Hallo there Kate,
I am glad to have you here.
Well, to start with, Zen 12 is a great program and I have actually used it myself. I have to say the experience I’ve had with it is just so refreshing and peace bringing to say the least.
The experience with it is deep and more felt than can be explained.
If you have never used any meditation program before, you are surely going to feel difference between your previous meditation sessions without zen 12, and when using such a program. And the effect is even deeper when using zen 12.
I can tell you for a fact that you are going to love it.
Plus, zen 12 is not my program. 🙂
It is just a meditation program I found on the web, used it and found to be the best one thus far. That’s why I am recommending it to other people.
Hope I have answered your question.
Have a great day.
Dave,
I am interested in the ability of this program to help with getting a better quality of sleep. I hear a lot being said about meditation etc. Are these programs like zen effective for helping with sleep?
Hey Scott,
Sorry for the delays.
It is great to hear that you interested in programs like zen 12.
I also see that you’d like to know if zen 12 can help with sleep.
Well, the thing is, zen 12 is mainly designed for helping with increasing the quality and effects of meditation, but then you can use it for sleep too, using the relaxation music. This style helps with sleep.
Personally, I would advise you to go for sleep salon if you only want to have a program that will help you with sleep. It is the best sleep program of this kind.
However, if you are looking for a program that can help you with both sleep and meditation, I would definitely go for zen 12.
Hope this answers your question.
If you need more help, just keep the conversation going below.
Have a fantastic day. 🙂
I’ve actually been using
Zen 12 for about a week now (I’m not being paid for this review). I’m really impressed with the results I’m getting, and it started after my first session. It really has eliminated that constant brain chatter, and it feels like waking up after a wonderful nap. I feel more focused and alert after I use it, and it does last all day for me. I know I’m only on level one but looking forward to the rest of the sessions. It’s probably the best $37 I’ve ever spent.
Great to hear you are getting good results Cheryl. 🙂
This is what keeps me going, knowing that I’m helping folks get brain systems that change their life.
I also found it funny that you said you were not paid to do give your experience with it. 🙂
Although I do understand that most folks may think of it that way.
Zen 12 is surely a great program and would also encourage those who doubt it to try it out for themselves and see how great it really is.
If you found zen 12 to be good, I would encourage you to look into other brilliant brain systems like, hypnosis live for profound hypnosis sessions, subliminal guru for deep subliminal messages and the Raikov effect for improving your genius skills.
They are as effective as zen 12
Have a fantastic day Cheryl. 🙂
Thanks, I think I’ll look into the hypnosis programs.
You are welcome Cheryl. 🙂
Hi Dave,
I am 60. I want a meditation program to help with – anxiety, deeper sleep, rumination & better concentration. Basically I need to rest & digest and go into ParaSymp for my Chronic Fatigue of many years.
I almost bought EquiSync, but I find your site. Thank you for generously share your knowledge to help tons of others who is a bit lost & for wonderful insights.
Zen 12 is much simplier program then EquiSync, – only 1 CD/month and 12 min(you can loop it as you suggested) & price is incredible.
I also look at Brain Ev system – which is more expensive but seems superior.
My question is – do you start with Zen12, them move up to Brain Ev? If money is not an issue, is Brain Ev FAR superior than Zen12 as it cost neally 9x more?
Since Brain Ev cost similar to MUSE, do you think I should just get Muse?
Much appreciate your knowledge and generousity
Alice from Australia
Hey there Alice,
Nice to have stop by this website. 🙂
My advice to you will be to first go for Muse because it is almost like the advanced version of Zen 12 and Brainev.
If you don’t get the kind of results you are looking for (because products usually work differently for people), you should get zen 12 because I have seen it convert for most people looking for relaxation, sleep and peacefulness. It is the best program to use as an alternative for muse because it is cheap and has really high effects in the areas I have mentioned.
If you also want to increase your level of concentration, I would advise you to go for Brainev as well since it is the best program that helps with training you for concentration and helping with emotional mastery.
But you should note that I recommend buying zen 12 and Brainev together when Muse fails to get you the kind of effects you are looking for.
Hope this helps.
If you need more help in this area, reply to this comment and I will surely get back to you.
Have a good day Alice. 🙂
are these downloadable
Yes, they are Rick. You can go ahead and download them after you have purchased them.
Have a good day.
I don’t feel any burning need to meditate (no, don’t inundate me with comments about how good meditation is for me, I know it has lots of benefits, I still don’t feel the urge). But … I do have a lot of issues right now with totally out of proportion fear as I try to learn to kayak and I am curious if any of the brain entrainment products out there might be helpful to deal with specific fear.
Hallo there Tracy,
I am sorry I delayed my response.
Well, if you really don’t feel the urge to meditate, I would encourage you to get into brainwave entrainment. This too can be of great help. And if you are wondering which brainwave entrainment products out there are great for handling fear, I would like to let you know that it depends on the actual type of fear you are trying to handle.
However, there is a great entrainment track that works well for general fear that I think will come in handy for you. It is a subliminal brainwave entrainment track called Banish Fear. It is free and I am sure you are going to like it. Here is the link to it. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prWLtvvmnAI). It is on Youtube.
Let me know how you find it.
Have a great day. 🙂
Hi Dave, very interest the information offered by you. I have a doubt: I was reading information about other programs like Holosync and I’d like to know if Zen12 have the improve in overcome past emotional traumas and negative remembers and moreover if the changes it promises are permament like it was told in Holosync. Thank you and sorry for my English.
Have a nice day…
Hey Layra.
Thanks for stopping by.
Well, the thing is, when you compare zen 12 to holosync in terms of meditation, you will see that zen 12 is a much better option based on quality and the variety of styles of meditation.
That is what I have said in my reviews of the two programs.
However, if you are looking for ways to erase emotional trauma and painful past memories and you have been told that holosync will do a great job and you also feel it is the best for you, I would encourage you to go for it.
What I would like you to understand is that, I was looking at holosync and zen 12 from a meditation point of view.
Also, if you are looking for programs to help with healing your emotional life and terrible memories of your life, I encourage you to consider a program called The Choice of Forgiveness.
It is a really good program for that. Holosync can also work for you if you love it.
I hope I have answered your question well enough.
If you need more help, please let me know below.
Have a good day. 🙂
Dear Dave,
Your review is very thorough and of great benefit to those who are serious about meditation like me and for the other newbies as well. The post is going to be very helpful to lots of folks out there.
I keep writing in my “To Do List” I need to meditate but not sure where and how to start. I have come across many meditating programs and tried few which under-delivered on what they promised in their sales page. Zen 12 Meditation sounds good after reading your review. Thanks for sharing your own experience.
I am sure your review is going to help many in their purchase decision. Thanks for saving people time, money and effort.
Planning to give it a try.
Much Success!
Paul
Hey Paul,
It is always great to hear that people like you are benefiting from this post.
It is my aim to help folks know what is best out there in terms of meditation based on my personal experience with it.
I am very sure you are going to love it.
Please let me know how you find it when you have given it a go. I will be waiting.
Have an awesome day mate. 🙂
Hi Dave, which level is best do you think to eliminate procrastination once and for all? I’ve been procrastinating for decades which I’m definitely not proud of. Thanks for your feedback.
Hallo there Carissa,
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Well, when it comes to Zen 12, I would say the program is about helping you meditate better and get into meditative states faster and have them remain for long periods of time.
So, I doubt it would really help you overcome procrastination.
Procrastination can only be overcome by two things, some support and personal effort.
On the support side, I recommend you use subliminal messages or hypnosis. They will help you rewire your subconscious mind which is more inclined to procrastinating, to become more inclined to taking up responsibilities when needed.
As you use either of the two, you also have to get your body up and running to do what you need to do.
And with constant application of what I have told you, you should see pretty good results.
The best subliminal messages for procrastination can be gotten in the Subliminal Guru store. Here is a review of the store to know how the messages work.
If you choose to go with hypnosis, I recommend Hypnosis Live. Again, Here is a review of hypnosis live store to help you understand how hypnosis live works.
I hope this answers your question.
If you need more help, feel free to shoot one right back.
Have an awesome day!
Hello Dave,
Since Zen 12 is based on isochronic tones , is use of headphones compulsory? If Yes , should the subtle beeps in the audio be audible to have an effective session while using headphones?
Hey there Pratik 🙂 ,
I would say it is highly recommended by the creators for you to use the headphones as you use zen 12, as you will get the best effects with it when the session is playing closest to your ears.
About the beeps, it is not necessarily important for you to hear them for the program to be effective. As far as you are attentive to the session, you are in a quiet place and you are constantly listening to it, the effectiveness should happen seamlessly.
Hope I have answered your question.
Have an awesome day. 🙂
Hi. Are the MP3 files downloadable or on CDs? If they are downloadable I assume they can be downloaded immediately after placing the order?? Let me know. Thank you. Danielle
Hallo there Danielle,
Sure, you will get access to the downloadable resources immediately you purchase them.
It is instant access!
I hope I have answered your question.
Have a fantastic day! 🙂
2 questions, please:
Which frequencies does Zen 12 use, i.e. alpha, theta, delta?
What types of beats are used, i.e. binaural, isochronic etc.
Thank you.
Hey there Tim,
Thanks for dropping by.
It uses theta waves and isochronic beats.
Hi Dave,
Thank You for the comprehensive review of Zen 12 , I have one question though, Does one need to concentrate hard on the music and beeps of isochronic tones , or does the track work automatically without any effort from the listener? Or does one need to concentrate on the breath while listening to the tracks.
Thank you.
Hi there Roy,
Thanks for dropping by. 🙂
Well, it pretty much depends on the tracks you are listening to and what you are doing as you listen to them.
The brainwave tracks act on your brainwaves almost immediately you start listening to them.
If you are meditating, you should just focus on your meditation session as the tracks will help keep you focused without effort on your part.
If you are relaxing, you should put your focus on the relaxation and the tracks will help you relax “behind the” scenes”.
In essence, you don’t have to put much effort into zen 12 tracks to make them work for you.
Simply do you what you are doing and the tracks will enhance the experience.
Hope this answers your question.
Have a fantastic day!
I suffer from chronic insomnia for a long time, years. Do you think zen 12 works better than the sleep program. Why is it that the sleep program does not use head phones. Grateful speedy reply somi know which one to subscribe. Thanks.
Hallo there David,
Sorry for the delays.
If you are having sleep issues, you should try out Sleep Salon.
It is specifically designed for that.
As for the headphones issue, we don’t have a specific reason. We will be communicating with the creators to know the exact reason for that and we will get back to you soon.
However, we think that you don’t get to use headphones because it can be very discomforting to go to bed with headphones on while trying to sleep.
That is what we think but we will get back to you with accurate answers.
Hope this helps. 🙂
Dave,
I am interested in working with a product like Zen 12 Meditation or other to create a customized product. Do you know if you can have the music in the background (like building self esteem) with words visible to read in a digitized format?
Hallo there Carla,
It would be hard to say whether it is possible or not to get your own personal customized program like Zen 12.
We strongly recommend you reach out to the Inspire3 team who created zen 12.
They would help you with that through their friendly support team. And may be you can come to an agreement with respect to your desires.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Hi, I just bought Zen12, but I’m a little confused, I thought that to have entrainment work you had to wear earphones to show the brains two hemispheres to sync. However Zen12 said quite clearly in the Start Guide you don’t need to wear headphones?! Mmmmm, that’s making me wonder if this is a proper entrainment program? Also not once do the mention what brain waves they are using. Is it Alpha, Theta or Delta etc? Concerned and confused. Thackeray
Hallo there Paula,
Sorry to hear you are confused about Zen 12.
We talked to Karl Moore, the owner of the company behind the Zen12 program and he said that Zen12 uses isochronic tones, which don’t require headphones to use. So it is not a necessity for you to use headphones.
However, it is worth noting that, even though headphones aren’t required for Zen12, they do greatly enhance the results you get… so if you can, use them… but if you don’t like headphones or find them uncomfortable (etc), then you can just listen as-is, open-air.
Hope this clarifies everything for you.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
I am interested in an MP3 set of Zen meditation audio. I do not have a CD player.
Hallo there Rae,
Thanks for stopping by.
Zen 12 meditation program can be downloaded and used through a mobile device. After you purchase it, just download the program to your smartphone and then go ahead and use it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Hi,
I have been using Zen 12 for over a year and love it. This is a great product at a very reasonable price. I already went through all 12 levels, and feel great after each meditation session with Zen 12. Now I need to go back to choosing random Zen 12 levels of my interest since I already listened to all of them. I am thinking it would be great if there’s a more advanced program that I can improve my meditation even more. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you.
Hi there Thanh,
Thanks for stopping by and for sharing your amazing experience with Zen 12.
We appreciate it. 🙂
As for your question, we would recommend you check out the Brain Evolution System program for meditation that offers up to 7 levels.
Although it is slightly more expensive than Zen 12.
We hope that helps.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Thank you IYBP Team for the recommendation.
You are welcome, Thanh.
We are glad we helped. 🙂
Please let us know how you find it after you give it a go.
We will be looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Thanks for your review. Tried and purchased zen 12 and after I purchased it and got my access to material nothing works. Sample video that i got worked but no different than any free app with binaurals or such tones. On fortunately will ask for refund. Dont know if it is me or the whole zen 12 thing looks strange and not so legit, in my opinion. All due respect to creator but having such claim on products like this and not having any follow-up on social media outlets is just fishy in my opinion. For me personally meditations cant be cutted in half and be better, I personally believe that it does not work that way. Brainwaves intertainment do the work for sure but there is so much free stuff on Spotify that it’s mind blowing. In my personal opinion you can get same results by downloading some free app or finding something on Spotify meditate as you do have good intentions and thats it.
To add I tried also Equisync and must admit even if it is 5 times money, it is more worth due to all studies and research they publish and all science explain very well on their website.
Kind regards
Hi there Hilmija,
Thanks for sharing your experiences with the Zen 12 program.
We are saddened to hear that the program didn’t work out well for you.
We would love to hear all the details of your experience with the program and maybe help you see where you might have gone wrong with the problem.
We would love to do that for you as one of our esteemed readers of our blog. 🙂
However, it is still worth noting that, just like medication, brainwave entrainment products do not work for everyone. Since they come in many variations in terms of frequencies, types, and others, every person is bound to have a unique experience.
It helps to try out other well-known brainwave entrainment products like The Brain Evolution System, Brain Salon, Equisync, Brainwave Shots, Sleep Salon, Nitrofocus, Brain Salon, and others.
In your case, we see you have given Equisync a try and it has worked for you. We are glad to hear that.
We encourage you to keep working with it if it is your right fit. 🙂
You also mentioned that the creators of the program don’t have any social media following and we would humbly beg to let you know that they do. Here are their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube social media channels in case you are interested in following them to learn how they work and the science behind their products.
We hope this helps.
If you have any questions, please let us know and we will be more than happy to answer them. 🙂
All the best.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Hi. Can i ask what is your relation with this product? And do you ever post any bad comments and experiences?
Hi there Srojan,
Thanks for stopping by.
Our relation with the product is that one of our staff members gave it a shot and they offered a personal and honest review of the program here.
The reviewer has also reached out to the creators of Zen 12 and has gotten answers to many questions asked by our readers and keeps doing that whenever a new question from the readers comes up and has not been addressed.
We hope this helps. 🙂
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
Am I to understand that I will receive 24 DVRs with this program or can I download them to my computer? My Macbook pro has no way to play dvrs.
Please advise.
I am waiting for your reply but think I just read the answer in a previous question.
Hi there Sherry,
We are happy to hear that you managed to get an answer to your question.
If you have any further questions about anything on our website and the brain, in general, please feel free to reach out as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
All the best.
Cheers,
The IYBP Team
