What It Is
This is a book that is packed with surprising insight into the reasons we drink, and opens your eyes to the startling role of alcohol in our culture.
This book, without scare tactics, pain or rules, gives you freedom from alcohol. By addressing causes rather than symptoms, it is a permanent solution rather than lifetime struggle. It removes the psychological dependence allowing you to easily drink less (or stop drinking).
Annie’s clarity, humor and unique ability to blend original research with riveting storytelling ensures you will thoroughly enjoy the process.
Annie takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of alcohol and specifically the connection between alcohol and pleasure.
She dispels the cultural myth that alcohol is a vital part of life and demonstrates how regaining control over alcohol is not only essential to personal happiness and fulfillment but also to ending the heartache experienced by millions as a result of secondhand drinking.
Annie Grace grew up in a one-room log cabin without running water or electricity outside of Aspen, Colorado. She discovered a passion for marketing and after graduating with a Masters of Science (Marketing) she dove into corporate life.
At the age of 26, Annie was the youngest vice president in a multinational company, and her drinking career began in earnest.
At 35, in a global C-level marketing role, she was responsible for marketing in 28 countries and drinking almost two bottles of wine a night.
Knowing she needed a change but unwilling to submit to a life of deprivation and stigma, Annie set out to find a painless way to regain control.
Annie no longer drinks and has never been happier. She left her executive role to write This Naked Mind and share it with the world.
In her free time, Annie loves to ski, travel (26 countries and counting), and enjoy her beautiful family. Annie lives with her husband and three children in the Colorado mountains.

What the Book Talks About
This book simply talks about all that you need to know about alcoholism.
It also provides you with lessons on how to stop alcoholism and regain sobriety.
According to the book it helps you control alcohol, find freedom ,discover happiness and  change your life.
What Is Alcoholism
Alcoholism is the most serious form of problem drinking, and describes a strong, often uncontrollable, desire to drink.
Sufferers of alcoholism will often place drinking above all other obligations, including work and family, and may build up a physical tolerance or experience withdrawal symptoms if they stop.
Alcoholism is sometimes known as alcohol addiction or alcohol dependence . It’s slightly different to ‘harmful drinking’ which is an occasional pattern of drinking which can cause damage to your health.
Why People Take Alcohol
* For the effect
*Out of curiosity
*As a reaction to the social environment
* Because they see it modeled by others
Environmental factors, such as the influence of parents or older people, play a role in initial alcohol use. For example, parents who drink more and who view drinking favorably may have children who do the same.
*As part of normal developmental transitions

*To relieve stress

* As a result of personality characteristics
People who start drinking early often share similar personality characteristics. These characteristics include:
difficulty avoiding harm or harmful situations
thrill seeker
*Because it is culturally normalized
*Because they expect a good experience
*. Because it is accessible
Signs and symptoms of Alcoholism
• A lack of interest in previously normal activities
• Appearing intoxicated more regularly
• Needing to drink more in order to achieve the same effects.
• Appearing tired,unwell or irritable
• An inability to say no to alcohol
• Anxiety ,depression or other mental health problems
• Becoming secretive or dishonest
How To Regain Sobriety From Alcohol According To Mind Book
Spontaneous sobriety might sound funny but it just means recovering from alcohol dependency without any formal treatment.
This is according to Annie Grace.
Spontaneous sobriety doesn’t mean you’ll be deprived or missing out on anything.
Instead it will be giving you back all of the pieces that you lost of yourself while drinking alcohol.
Your social life will be more active since you’ll no longer be isolating yourself to cover up the amount you’re drinking.
You’ll feel in control and prepared at work. You will actually remember the fun you had with friends.
Rather than attending parties and trying to find ways to avoid alcohol as you would in a traditional treatment program, you won’t be affected by its presence at all since your desire to drink will no longer exist.
There’s no fear of failure because there is nothing to lose. You’re only gaining.
In fact, people in the US who spontaneously recover from alcohol dependence are between four and seven times more successful than participants in the most well known treatment approach.
This approach has been greatly emphasized in this book.

Best Place to Buy The Book

The best place I recommend you buy the book is on Amazon. The price there is fair and according to my research, it is the most trusted online store at the moment. It will also be very convenient for you to buy there if you were planning to do more online shopping today.

My Thoughts About This.
Really great and interesting book, however i think that most people wont stop taking alcohol just because a book said so.
Some people are just happy with the effect alcohol it gives them to the extent that they do not even recognize that it is already harming them.
I think change starts from the mind. One will really quit alcohol if they really feel like it.
