When it comes to weight loss, I must admit that we have been led to believe there are so many approaches we can use to see the inches being shaken off our waists. While there are so many of them, there are only a few that give you the best experience and also deliver good results.
Among these, is the approach of eating like you normally do but then tweaking a few things down the road to get your mind to think you are not stressing it so that your journey to weight loss remains a smooth one.
If you are wondering how the approach works and how well it helps then this book is just what you will want to read.
My mini habits for weight loss book review will be delving into the gist of the book, the author, some meat of the book, the best place to buy and my final thoughts about it.
So without doing anything else, let’s jump right in. 🙂

The Gist of the Book and More on the Author
This book is mainly aimed at helping you understand the weight loss method that many folks have seen good results with which handles both the body and the brain.
The method discussed here seeks to make the body and the brain work together without feeling overburdened so that you are able to stick to the expectations of the method from start to end without stopping and also get really good results in return.
He explains the mental related things you need to do to be able to make weight loss possible for you as well as the physical things you should get involved in to see the kind of bodily changes you have always desired.
The book has been authored by Stephen Guise. There is not much to his life that has been shared online other than he is a guy who loves being realistic with stuff. Realistic in the sense that he likes having strategies that match the destination.
In weight loss, he says explains that it is more about how you eat than how you exercise. If you work on eating right, then weight loss should not be an issue for you. He also says that he gives 12% to motivation and the other 88% is all about strategizing.
Personally I agree with him because without strategies that match the kind of results you are looking for, you will be pretty much be heading to the wrong direction.
Other than that, Stephen loves basketball, traveling and is quite the minimalist. His book ahas been translated to about 14 languages thus far and folks have really loved which means it is something you get to take quite some value from.
Some More Meat of the Book
The book has gone into some aspects like the lifestyles we choose live. He says that the main reason we end gaining weight beyond what we imagined is because of the lifestyle we choose to live. He has explained that the few things that we get involved in are what make the biggest impacts in our lives.
And this is the same when reversed.
If you make simple changes in your lifestyle, you should also notice a huge change in your life, in terms of losing weight, on the long term.
This is what he seeks to train you to do in the book.
He discusses the small changes you should make in your eating without making you feel like there is something significant that has been taken out of your eating habits as well as change a few things in the way you do your exercises.
The book encourages that the small changes you will be making should not feel like a sacrifice, they should be so small that you won’t the pinch of working with them. This will go along way in getting your mind not to feel the weight.
The changes you should seek to make have been well mentioned and well explained in the book.
Having said this, I am sure that you already have the hint that you won’t be giving up your favourite carbs, which I can almost hear you give a sigh of relief. 🙂
Other aspects of the book that caught my eye which you are also going to find pretty interesting are:
* The great importance of eating fruits (really stressed on this)
* The correlation of the body and the brain in loosing weight and how that comes in handy for you
* How a good deal of your behaviours work automatically and the importance of leveraging willpower
* The creative stratagems to use when in social events to keep you from gaining weight
* How restricting yourself from gaining calories can weigh you down
* And so much more other interesting topics
Something I also noticed about the book which I found encouraging is that it doesn’t work with giving out quick weight loss fixes or other forms of advice that will trick you into thinking you are getting fast results when in fact you are not making any progress.
The Best Place to Buy the Book
I always recommend buying the book from www.amazon.com because of the great reputation it has had over the years and for the fact that it is the leading online store with really good services.
I also find it pretty convenient because you can get the book as well as other things you were planning to purchase online today there, all at once which is going to save time. There is also a summary of the book in the store that will be of good help with getting the goodies of the book faster and with referring to them in the future.
My Final Thoughts on the Book
Based on my experience with the many weight loss programs out there, I have to say that is the easiest to implement, going by the strategies it campaigns for. I like the idea that it does not ask the for immediate shifts in the way of living.
I say this because, let’s face it, it’s just hard to give things up so fast, and permanently for that matter.
But by changing a few things, one thing at a time, it won’t feel any difficult to follow through to the end.
Something else I found good is that the book is on team willpower instead of relying on motivation. This I find good because motivation can be very unstable and unpredictable.
If you work on your willpower, you will gain mental toughness which is what will keep you dedicated all the way to the end.
In summary, I would say that this is a book I recommend reading.
And that is pretty much it with the mini habits for weight loss book.
A program I think will go so well with the book is the Subliminal 360, which will help you with the affirmations you need to build your willpower.
I believe I have answered almost all of your questions about the book.
If not, please feel free to ask in the comments. I would also love to hear your thoughts on the book. And I try to be as quick as I can with replying to comments. I keep the response time below 1 hour although most of the time I do it in under 30 minutes. You are free to test that out. 🙂
