1. Emmanuel Buysse

    Great info.

I’m not so totally into spirituality, but one of my friends is totally away from it

He can speak hours and hours about it, to everybody, sometimes it can be anoying to me, but I respect the way he thinks and lives.

I’m certain that when I’m going to show him this post, he wants to buy this book, he has a lot of them, so I would be very surprised if he doesn’t want to buy it.

Thanks for sharing it with us!

    • Dave

      You are welcome Emmanuel. 🙂

It would be good to let him know about it. I am sure he is going to love the book if he is into spirituality.

I will be waiting for him in my site.

Have a good one mate. 🙂

Being in tune not only with your body but also with your mind and spirit is really important, in my opinion, to live a balanced life. I find that when I’m in tune with myself; I’m much happier, calm, and productive. I have never heard of this book but I appreciate your review because you went in depth as to who the author is and why he wrote the book in the first place. I will be checking this book out.

    • You are right Victor,

It is very important to be in tune with your body, mind and spirit. It really comes in handy as far as inner peace, harmony and calmness go.

The book is quite interesting and helpful and you are going to love it. Please remember to come and give your feedback on it once you have read it.

Have a good day mate. 🙂

This seems like a great book to read. I wish to get myself a copy because the contents sound very interesting to me. I’ve always wanted to learn more on Yoga and how it works.

I wonder if there is a more detailed summery of this book somewhere online for people who would wish to get a wider scope.

I’m wondering how yoga is connected to both meditation and spiritual matters, is there a chapter that specifically talks about this in the book? Personally am interested in learning more about Yoga only and I wonder if this book is suitable for me?

    • Dave

      Hey there pmbaluka2016 🙂 ,

Yes, the book does offer quite some insights into yoga.

The third section of the book as I have mentioned in the post does offer a lot on meditation, spiritual traditions and yoga techniques. The section will answer your questions on yoga, meditation and spiritual matters.

I hope I have answered your questions.

      Have a fantastic day.

      Your friend,

    Hi Dave,

That’s an interesting review. The rush environment of this contemporary life has made it hard for people to meditate. Meditation is a great exercise that if properly done helps one to unlock a lot of things in life. Myself I’ve been slacking of late about this exercise but reading your article has stricken some awareness in me. Thank you for the info. I’ll check it out and see.

    • Dave

      Hey mate,

      You are always welcome. 🙂

I agree with you that life’s issues can sometimes prove to be very demanding that you are not able to meditate. But getting back to the exercise when you have the time does help.

The most important thing is doing your best when you have the time.

Do let me know what you think about when you have read it.

      Have an awesome day,

      Your online buddy,

I am always in the lookout for something new to read and although I had never read anything similar it seems like an interesting topic to spend some quality time. I am a bit bored of reading novels so I wanted to find a book that has something completely different to offer. I think I may consider this one for my next read. Thank you for sharing.

    • Dave

      You are welcome Stratos,

Trying something different once in a while can be very beneficial.

And this is one of those moments that you are going to find pretty useful as far as trying this spirituality book goes.

Be sure to let me know how you find the book when you get to read it.

I will be waiting for your feedback on it.

      Great day mate. 🙂

After having a heart attack last year I have been looking at ways to change my lifestyle and my overall well-being and a friend of mine recommended this book so I thought I would check out some reviews about it online, and this has been the best one I have found which explains everything that I needed to know about it.

I have heard a lot about the author Ram Dass, are there other books you can recommend by Ram other than ‘Be Here Now’? as I would love to look into more of them to see if they can help my life situation.

    • Dave

      Hallo there Matthew,

Am so sorry about the heart attack, and I pray that you get completely well.

Changing your lifestyle is perhaps the best move you have made and which will pay off in the long run.

I am sure you are going to fetch so much value from the book.

Other books that Dam Rass has written, which you find interesting, are Miracles of Love, Journey of Awakening, The Only Dance There is, Doing Your Own Being and Be Love Now.

Remember to share your experience with the books with us when you’ve read.

Improve your brain power community will be waiting for them.

Have yourself a good one, friend. 🙂

Well i know it is very important to connect with the divine, it gives you the aura and feelings that you are next to God. spirituality cannot be separated from the physical wellbeing, emotional balance and the metaphysical, so it is important to read such a book that gives you enough knowledge about divinity and spirituality it helps you gain access to the realm where everything is possible.

    Hello Dave,

It is very important to know things about your spiritual life, it helps one to improve mentally and live above fear and doubt. However, many folks’ destiny have been thwarted because they have no knowledge about their spiritual lives.I like reading spiritual books a lot because they reveal so many things about my life that I cannot find in the physical. I also encourage people to buy spiritual books too.

    • Dave

      You are right Jim,

Spiritual books do offer quite some perspective about life and many other things that we don’t seem to comprehend.

These books are more of what we need to interact with to get the competitive edge in life.

  9. kemdi21

Great and fantastic review of this great spiritual book by Ram Dass. I am quite a spiritual person and i am also in the belief that a sound soul dwells within a sound mind and body. So im glad to see the third section of the book offers some yoga techniques for meditation. I feel like i will add this to my book collections since it comes at a great prize to on amazon.

    Thanks for sharing!!

    • Dave

      You are very welcome kemdi21 🙂 ,

A sound soul sure does dwell in sound mind and body.

You seem to have a really good hang of this topic.

The book is going to offer you even more insights on yoga and meditation.

Lokking forward to your feedback on the book once you give it a go.

      Have a fantastic day. 🙂

  10. Dany

    Hello Dave,

Thank you for an informative post. I notice on the cons that some people were concerned about their religion, but I think that you can still practice yoga despite your religion. I think each person should take from the book whatever finds necessary.

I must admit that yoga combine with meditation gives amazing results.

I will pin your article for a further reading.

    • Dave

      Hey Dany,

Be sure to pin it. Your following might find it useful.

I am also with you 100% on the religion idea.

It doesn’t have to be the limit to your inner peace and harmony.

As you said, folks just have to work with the aspects of the book they deem fit for them, which is pretty much what I, you and everyone else is after.

The essence that makes sense to life.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day. 🙂

      Your online friend,
