L-Tyrosine User Reviews

Well, I had the chance to see how the supplement is doing in the market. I looked through various social platforms and forums like reddit, and it really turned out to be impressive.

This supplement sure does work with effectiveness. Other than the fact it is a well known supplement that has been used for decades, its reputation keeps growing.

But we shouldn’t ignore the poor ratings too. Most of these are from folks who took it while they were taking other medications of other totally unrelated conditions. Others took it without full understanding of its purposes.

What I always encourage people to do, is to visit a doctor first for confirmation before jumping at it, unless you had a doctor prescribe it to you.

Where to Buy L-Tyrosine Online

I always recommend buying all brain supplements from Absorb Your Health. They are the ones I trust the most because of their price, support team and value.

I have been getting supplements like aniracetam, adrafinil and 5 htp, to name a few, from them for a long time now and never have I gotten anything to complain about their service.

I also think the wholesale prices and private labels they give is another plus, not to mention the huge amount of discounts they give when you purchase in bulk.

Moreover, they give free shipping if you buy products with value of over $75 in the United States, but they do ship to Australia, United kingdom (UK), Canada and other parts of the world too.

They have third party testing for all their products which I feel is also something worth it.

You can also get the same Absorb Health bottle of L-Tyrosine supplement on Amazon. So if you would like to buy it from Amazon instead, you can easily do it.

I always recommend using Amazon to buy Absorb health supplements when you are shopping for other products there as well, but the supplements alone as it can be very expensive, compared to buying from the main website.

Another name for L-tyrosine is Tyrosine.

To start with, l-tyrosine is hugely involved in the creation of the skin pigmentation called melanin, which gives the skin its color and is also found in your eyes and hair.

To help with boosting your moods, heightening your focus and concentration, increasing levels of energy and general brain health, it is able to produce dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine which are known to bring about these effects.

These three are chemical messengers in the brain.

Tyrosine is also used to bring down a common disorder which is hereditary, called PKU (Phenylketonuria). It is a result of the body not being able to utilize phenylalanine, which used to produce tyrosine.

And this makes it hard for tyrosine to be produced. So, people with this disorder need to take more of tyrosine supplement to keep their body working right.

Other than that, tyrosine is well known for dealing with premenstrual syndrome, stroke, ED (erectile dysfunction), sleep deprivation, narcolepsy, low libido, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), Parkinson’s disease, schizophrenia, withdrawal from alcohol and cocaine, and even reducing wrinkles caused by aging.

For those taking it for treating Phenylketonuria, you are advised to add 6 grams of tyrosine for every 100 grams of protein you use.

Be careful of overdosing as it will lead to very harmful side effects. People taking doses of up to 12 grams per day should be warned of toxicity’s it can hugely affect their health.

Side Effects

When you take it in the recommended dosage, you are safe. But if you take extremely high doses, you are likely to suffer some few side effects which are dangerous at times.

Hey Bryan, L-tyrosine sure does come with very many handy benefits. And there are quite a number of proteins and other foods that has it.

I think falling short of knowledge like this, of knowing that most of what we eat has all the brain boosting benefits, takes away the confidence that we are living a healthy lifestyle brain wise. And therefore give ourselves to weakness.

That is why they say that knowledge is power. 🙂

    Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for sharing a great article about tyrosine and how it works and its benefits, dosage and side effects.
This is the first time I hear about it,
I have a friend who suffers from ADHD, she has talked to her family doctor and this doctor doesn’t want to give her any pills to help her to stay focused and do some tasks she need to work on every day.
I’m going to forward to my friend your article so she can read it, she might have some questions for you.
It’s always good to find some alternatives to help people feel better.

    Hi Dave,
A very interesting article on L-tyrosine. Some years ago I was advised to purchase fish oils, omega 3 & 6, when my son was struggling with his concentration at school. Although he doesn’t suffer with ADHD his teacher thought he needed something to help him focus. I wish I had your advice back then, I think it would have helped him enormously. Thanks for sharing.

      Hey Debbie,

L-Tyrosine really helps with focus and is something I would also approve your son to use to help him become more productive as far as concentration is concerned.

And don’t worry if you didn’t heed the advice of your son’s teacher on getting him the supplement. We all get to make mistakes once in a while. But the most important thing is what step we take when we realize we have made the mistake. 🙂

I believe you are going to get the brain supplement for your son. I would really like to hear the results with the product after he has had it for a good while.

I look forward to hearing from you again.

      Cheers. 🙂

Sometimes I forget really simple things and my trainer suggested this supplement as well
I also try building a business but it seems like I am stuck and I sometimes get high stress levels because of it.
Do you think that this supplement can be a quick fix for me?

      Hey Furkan,

L-tyrosine can come really in handy for you if you want to increase your remembrance as it helps with memory. As for reducing high stress levels, I would highly recommend you work with Aniracetam as it works best on this area.

But I would also advise you to check in with your doctor to confirm that the stack will be good for you based on your current health condition.

      Hope this helps. 🙂

      Cheers
