Fighting depression quotes and other solutions won’t help you come out of depression, they will only excite you for a while and then they will be forgotten. They will leave you to ease yourself back into it. What you need a solution that will not only help you fight the depression now, but also help you avoid next time it’s knocking on your door.
This is how you treat depression on your own, the proper way.
The Mind Twist technique. I guess the name gives it away.
It is simply where you sit quietly and alone, just as you’d want, and create beautiful thoughts within your brain that will help you gain energy to fight depression in your mind without effort and also give you enough power, resolution and ideas to solve the actual problem that got you depressed, in the outside world.
It helps you handle the main causes of depression, your mind and thought! Yes, they are main causes of depression as they are what allow you to remain with the pain and distress.
You keep thinking about your problem, your mind spends all its energy thinking about the pain and you end up becoming drained physcially, emotionally and mentally.
It also gets the problem ingrained into your life that you feel it as part of you and are unable to get over it.
Afterwards, this makes you run out of energy to overcome it, that is why you will often feel lazy, tired and unmotivated to do anything but sleep or do things that will only hurt you.
But if you twist your mind, just slightly, you will be able to regain most of the energy, reduce the high levels of the stress hormone called cortisol, activate the happiness hormone called serotonin, and help you become peaceful.

You can do it immediately after you read this post, and you will see rewarding results.
Here is the procedure:
• Sit quietly in a clean, well ventilated room with plenty of oxygen. You can get into any tidy room, open the windows and make sure air is able to circulate freely. It’s necessary, your brain will need much of it.
If you are sleepy or tired, I’d suggest you do it outside in open space, alone.
• Make sure you have a relatively comfortable seat. Wherever you choose to sit, please make sure that you don’t have a backrest and your spine is straight. This will help keep your body active by having it stand on its own.
• Close your eyes.
• Think about perfect peace for the next 15 minutes, without allowong thoughts of depression in your thoughts. It may sound ineffective by the mention of it, but it has great impact on your mind. Try it and see it yourself.
This is where you should start, answer these questions in your mind. what is perfect peace, how perfect peace is identified in a person.
How deeply rooted peace affects the quality of life, how this pure peace brings happiness and bliss, how untainted peace and calmness brings health and love for others. You can think of others later on. But make sure you start with these areas.
• Now, remember, the most important part of this whole thing is this, concentration. It is a must that you have full concentration. See that your mind is only seeing peace and nothing else. No distractions.
As you think, you should visualize the perfecly peaceful person and their traits.
If you don’t put in your whole concentration, you will have poor quality results and they will fade away in about 3 hours, or less. I talk from experience.
But if you put your whole concentration on peace and try to elaborate in your brain, it will have a substantial amount of effect on your brain and body and it’s something real!
Something you can really feel in your chest and in the middle of your brain. A wave of peacefulness and deep rooted relaxation.
If you don’t think you can manage to give 100% concentration during this period, don’t worry. I also had the same problem.
Check the things I recommend in the “Thing You Will Need” section below, to use to improve your focus and concentration. I chose the 3 most effective ones I know of.
• After you are done thinking, open your eyes and observe your mood, energy and peace. They will have improved significantly.
These steps will help you get peace and cheerfulness instantly, but for a while, say one to three days, if you had total concentration. You can achieve complete and perfect peace, if you allow your thoughts to accept and digest the thoughts of peace you hold during the period.
Now if you really want to beat depression for good, you have to teach your mind to fully adapt to your thoughts. But it will take time.
You will be improving day by day, and you will be feeling major improvements each day. Add these to the initial steps and you will soar to pure happiness, calmness and power.
• Do it everyday, when you wake up, slightly before sunrise, and slightly before you sleep.
• After a month, add 15 more minutes to each session. This means, you have 30 minutes to do it in the morning, and 30 minutes in the evening.
• Within a month, if you do it without cheating any day, you will have twice as much peace and happiness as you have ever had. Within 6 months, you should have seen a total life transformation.
Not only in overcoming depression, but also in handling stressful situations and other difficult areas in your life. It will happen just naturally and seamlessly without having to exert any effort.
Things You Will Need
This part handles the concentration issue. If you have trouble concentrating fully, as this method requires, I have something you can use as an aid.
Based on what you choose to work with, you will either train your mind to concentrate naturally (which I advise you to use) or getting focus through meditation techniques (good, but not as great as the first) or getting temporary focus and attention (for people who can’t afford the other two) to make it through the period you will be doing this technique. So here they are:
1. Zen 12 Meditation Program
It’s not the best training music for pure concentration, but it’s a fairly cheap product of getting your brain to concentrate through meditation waves. It is also the best tool for meditation itself, I have used and still use it for meditation.
It takes only 12 minutes and effects start kicking in immediately you plug in your headphones or earphones. The effects last through the whole period and beyond.
2. Brain Evolution System
This is the best music program for training your mind to concentrate, but it is a bit expensive. I would rather you use this, if you can manage to buy it, as it will help your brain to have enough energy and focus to concentrate whenever you want.
It also uses meditation waves like zen 12, but I find this one to be highly advanced and it works best for concentration and attention.
It works in levels, taking your brain from one level of concentration to the other, each month. You will feel and observe a huge improvement everyday, and it perfectly fits in the technique as you only have to listen to it for 30 minutes everyday.
This means, you listen for 15 minutes in the morning and the other 15 minutes before you sleep, exactly as the technique asks you.
By the time you are done with it, your mind will be in quite another level. You’ll be able to concentrate fully and naturally. I’m able to do this myself and it’s possible for you too.
I don’t highly recommend you use this since it is a brain power supplement, it’s best for desperate times.
As you know, supplements alter your body. But it is the cheapest of these 3 reccomedations I have given here, and the safest supplement I know.
The good thing is, this one has no reported side effects but you are not advised to take more than 2 months consecutively. It has its own side effects when used for more than this period.
But it is the best on the market with the best alterness and concentration effects. You only need to take a single pill 30 minutes before you start putting this technique into practice, and your mind will be more than ready to do it.
Alertness with this may last for a few hours, so don’t worry if you find yourself having the same alertness after you are done.
These should help you a long way.
Finally, I would like you note that I am for doing this practice with the brain evolution brain training music, and without influence of any chemical supplement. That is why I’m against using aniracetam, on the long term, or any other brain supplement.
Although, if you don’t have money, you can use it for the time being. It is safe and helps a great deal. I have given the recommendation based on price and effectiveness.
