You see, many salespeople tend to forget, or sometimes ignore that, they they are dealing with real people, who have a heart and a brain.
Potential buyers are real people, and they will be moved when they see the genuine honesty in you by helping them get what they want.
They will also be annoyed and turned off by you when you try to push them to get what makes you more money.
Two great selling gems I discovered which work all the time, a pleasant personality and tidiness. May seem a bit off, but try it out and you will see how it converts well.
In pleasant personality, you have to be more of a listener than a talker, and listen actively. You also have to give the client time to tell you what they want. You have to understand what they want and all the specifics involved.
Then you should get them exactly that. But even after that, you also have to give them time to think and decide, never be pushy.
Something that works like magic, be genuinely friendly always.
Treat them like your sibling, advising them and giving them the best help, and they will trust you, buy from you and every so often, they will tip you. (Trust me on this)
In tidiness, you should look presentable in dressing, arrange your desk and office, as you may have to take the client there at some point.

Something you should know is, this advice is only the tip of the iceberg. It is not complete. I just highlighted the main ones.
There are actually many other things that can’t be explained when it comes to sales, they are self explanatory and you only have to have the skill to understand them, and get them working right for you.
And I also believe that no one can tell you all about it or give you all the tips you need to be an expert since every sale is a different experience, a learning and growing experience.
That’s why I would advise you to seek to build this sales skill by first working on your personality and tidiness as this will give you the best start, and boost you in a great way.

When it comes to tidiness, there is nothing much to be said, as you only have to make sure you are smartly dressed always, and you are sure to keep your office neat and properly arranged.
But in personality, you will have to put in a little more effort to see things going well for you.
My favourite approach to this is using someone you know who has the most pleasant personality and try to emulate them. You only need to get a gentle, sweet and kind hearted person you know and work to be like them.
But since I noted this can take quite a long time to fully build all these character traits in you, if you are to observe them and do things like them, I recommend using a skills training system to make the work easier and fun.
