When it comes to the topic of positive thinking, I have to say that the author has broken things very well for you and has showed how a truly positive mind should be. He has given a good example which I found very profound in thinking positively.
He says that even a dead clock shows the correct time twice a day.
I personally found this to be deep because most folks, starting with myself, would see the “deadness” of the clock and how it is not any useful but Benjamin introduces a new perspective of knowing it is right on two occasions which is right and hard to think.
It is only an analogy of a clock but there is more to it than meets the eye when you think about it.
There are many other examples he gives on this topic that will open your your mind and show you other helpful ways you should start reasoning and other points of view you should be seeing things from, which will transform your life in the long run.
He also handles the topic on self appreciation very wisely and boils down the reasons you should focus on bettering yourself based on the little effort you put in everyday towards self improvement. He talks about how appreciating yourself goes a long way to boost your self esteem and increase your motivation to get to higher levels.
Another topic I would say he is well versed in is seeing the good amidst bad situations. He gives good descriptions of seeing every bad situation as an opportunity to realize your weakness and work on it.
Instead of sobbing, the author recommends to take it as an opportunity sent to help you take a step ahead to becoming a much better version of yourself. And he explains in the book how you should go about it.
There are more other areas that the Benjamin has looked into which I can’t emphasize enough how well he has put them into perspective. I would encourage you to read the book for yourself to understand what I am saying.
