Customer Reviews

Many people who have used this supplement have really been happy with it. I have seen on many social platforms and forums like reddit, people giving a very positive feedback on it.

It is clear that the product works great by the fact that the count of the 4 stars and 5 stars being higher than the others.

But there also poor ratings from other users. These don’t come from the product itself. Most complaints were made by people who went for it while they were using other prescriptions and those who had other heath issues.

And for that reason, I strongly advise you check a doctor for advice before you use it, for proper guidance based on your current health condition.

Where to Buy Ashwagandha Online

There are many stores you can get this brain supplement from, but the most reputable one I trust and know well of is Absorb Your Health.

They sell high quality brain power supplements that have been tested by third parties and have become very popular in the little time they have been operating.

I personally get my supplements from them because they are among the cheapest and they have a very credit worthy support team.

They do give discounts if you buy big and also offer free shipping to the United States. But they also ship to other countries like Canada, United kingdom (UK) and Australia, basically, all over the world.

Oh, and before I forget, they also give really attractive wholesale prices and private labels as well.

You can also get the same Absorb Health bottle of Ashwagandha supplement on Amazon. So if you would like to buy it from Amazon instead, you can easily do it.

I always recommend using Amazon to buy Absorb health supplements when you are shopping for other products there as well, but the supplements alone as it can be very expensive, compared to buying from the main website.

 What is Ashwagandha?

This is a root extract that is very popular in handling bad moods, bringing anxiety down and improving the memory.

It is pretty famous in Northern part of Africa and Asian countires especially India, where it was used as traditional medicine for treating bites from snakes, constipation and boosting sexual performance.

Due to the fact that it able to treat these conditions, most people often confuse it with the Indian ginseng which is another completely different treatment altogether.

Ashwagandha Reviews

The name “Ashwagandha” came from a Hindu tribe word meaning a horse’s smell and the roots of the Ashwagandha plant smells just like a horse.

Based on the recent studies on it, it has been found fit and potent to reduce anxiety and stress. It is also well known to boost the memory and overall function of the brain.

Another name for Ashwagandha is Withania Somnifera, solanaceae, Winter Cherry, Smell of a Horse or Dunal.

How it Works

Most of Ashwagandha’s potency comes from its ability to reduce inflammation. This makes it possible for it to enhance the memory, strengthening the immune system and keeping it safe, as well as boosting learning abilities among others.

It is also known to regulate the levels of GABA and monoamine oxidase which brings calming effects.

Ashwagandha is also involved with forming dendrites in the brain. Dendrites are extensions of neurons that look like branches where nerve signals pass. And this boosts the overall brain health.

In this supplement, there are withanolides which are powerful antioxidants that help with neuroprotection. They prevent oxidation of cells that make them free radicals which later cause mental illnesses like Alzheimer’s and even aging.

Ideally, it works towards bringing the brain to tranquility, regulating blood pressure, dealing with inflammation and swelling, and the immune system.

A number of diseases Ashwagandha is able to deal with include insomnia, depression, chronic liver disease, asthma, fibromyalgia, arthritis, menstrual issues, tuberculosis, hiccups, bronchitis, sleeping problems, tumors, fertility issues and leukoderma which is a skin disease.

To be brief, here are just a few of the benefits that you get by supplementing with Ashwagandha:

• Improving your learning experience

• Treating a wide range of life threatening conditions

• Protecting the brain (neuroprotection)

• Treating mental disorders like Alzheimer’s disease

• Reducing stress, anxiety and depression

• Enhancing the memory

• Boosting general body health

• In weight loss, increasing strength of muscles

• Solving sexual related issues like boosting sperm count

Low doses of 50mg to 100mg can be good depending on why you are taking it. Many people take it to address different health issues it is known to treat and this may need them to have to take Ashwagandha Reviewsdifferent doses.

But the most common dose which seems to work great for almost anyone is 500mg to 1500mg. This means taking 1 to 3 capsules per day for a bottle with 500mg concentration per capsule.

It would be better to start low, say 1 capsule each day to assess your level of tolerance and then you can up the dose slowly.

The best dosage timing is in the morning or in the late afternoons. And take it with a full stomach.

If you are stacking it with other supplement like aniracetam, or phenibut, stick to one capsule a day.

Side Effects

As with most known supplements, ashwagandha is safe when taken in the recommended dosage. No side effects at all have been linked with taking the right dose.

But those who overdose are likely to suffer side effects like drowsiness, diarrhea, indigestion, abdominal pain, skin rashes, nausea, vomiting and too much acidity.

People on other prescription drugs, pregnant women and children aren’t advised to use it.

The best way to know if you are fit for it is to visit a doctor.

And that is all there is to say about Ashwagandha for now.

Thank you for this review.  I hadn’t heard of Ashwagandha before now.

It’s impressive as to how many ailments it can address.

I’ve never heard of a supplement smelling like a horse before, LOL.  I wonder how it tastes.

Are there any restrictions if you take it (i.e. no driving or operating heavy equipment, etc.)?

It’s intriguing and I think I’ll have to look into it further.

    Thanks again,

    1. Hallo there Scott,

      Nice to have you here.

Well, we always recommend checking with a doctor to know how well it will work for you based on your health status and body chemistry.

This is the best way to know your specific restrictions so that you are able to make good use of it.

      Hope this answers your question.

  2. Wow! How much detailed information you have given up here concerning the ashwagandha product. I like any product that can really help to boost my brain performance and concentration. I like that this can be used to focus more and to make productivity the germane factor here. The features it boasts of are really great to know of. Thanks for this but I am not sure I would be buying this as I am on aniracetam for now. Thumbs up

Luckily I have found your site.  I am always looking for supplements for ‘brain power’ and to improve my general health.  Despite eating loads of vegetables, fruit and meat, I do not think that I am getting the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals are is required.

I notice that when I am very stressed or anxious, that my memory suffers.  I forget things so easily and yet my brain is working all the time, thinking “i still have to do this, i still have to do that”, but then 2 seconds later, I forget!

It is also good to see that another benefit is that it boosts the immune system.

I think I will try one bottle, and see what the effects are like and then purchase in bulk at a later stage.

Thanks so much for your review.  Great read

  4. Supplements like this isn’t seen around, they are not so common. They are full of benefits and good remarkable abilities. Ashwagandha is a supplement that combats a lot of life threatening issues, this is interesting, I’ve been into a couple of supplements lately but they are not as productive as they are in their reviews. I use these supplements for depression and a couple of random issues, I’ll give Ashwagandha a trial, see how it goes which I trust will be really effective. Thanks for sharing this article, it is informative.

    1. You are welcome Jones, be sure to let us know how it goes for you.

  5. Wow! What an intriguing and informative post! Before reading your site post, I can’t honestly say I had ever heard of Ashwagandha, still not sure if I’m pronouncing it correctly lol. I really enjoyed this read. For me personally, as I get older and my grandparents begin to fade, I worry about my older self. Having lost my grandmother (Dad’s mom) to Alzheimer’s and my grandfather (Mom’s dad) to Lewy Body Dementia, I fear that I too will succumb to one of those dreadful conditions. I currently work as a Nurse’s Assistant at a Nursing Facility, 90% of the elderly residents that I care for everyday are considered “Memory Care” residents. I see the effects of the conditions everyday whether it be the individual themselves or most commonly, their loved ones. It is heartbreaking to me as I offer comfort to residents and families alike who struggle with the terrible reality of forgetting…or being forgotten. I think of my own children and how they will cope with the same harsh reality in the future. I do all I know to do to try and keep that fear from becoming reality by using brain function apps such as Lumosity. Although I am not one to trust or consume pills that claim to do this or that, but your post caught my attention so well that I am going to check out this product that you have highly recommended.

Per usual, I am supposed to offer feedback, make suggestions of improvement, and/or ask one or two questions not answered in the content. I am happy to say that your site has left me no opportunity to offer improvement suggestions. The content was thorough and well written with very little grammatical errors. The site’s visual content was a bit fuzzy to read but relevant to the content, and I must say the context of your writing was very personable, down to earth, and has a personality behind it, which is awesome…so, well done! If I were to ask any questions, my only question would be… In your post it states that pregnant women and children are not advised to take, my question is…Would age 12 still be considered a child as far as supplements are concerned? Most everyday pain relievers, cough medicines, allergy medications, and vitamin supplements advise children under 12yrs not use the product. Would this supplement be safe for a 12yr old girl who suffers with anxiety and depression?

So, again! Great read, I’ve enjoyed your site!

    Best Wishes!

    1. Thanks Monique for the kind comment,

      We really appreciate it. 🙂

Well, as for the age issue, most supplements are only recommended for adults. However, if you personally feel like the supplement can help your 12 years old girl, we would encourage you to first visit a doctor for accurate advice as there are many factors that determine how well the supplement will work. And these factors vary from one person to another.

      Hope this helps.

      Have a wonderful day!
