What Tag Synchronisation is.

Definition: this is an easily visible phenomenon seen in common displays of the electrical activity of the brain as observed on the scalp through commercial amplifiers for example EEG biofeedback/neurofeedback.

In simple terms what i want you to understand is that it is what you see when information is taken from your scalp and displayed through a computer.

It was developed into a neurofeedback technique for clinical use.

Tag synchronisation is a phenomenon seen in brain waves (EEG) during learning,insight, problem solving and near death experience.

As such it is important to note that it may not be seen often in the resting EEG recording.

What i mean is that the brain has to be doing something so that the brain waves can be seen and not when resting as such the brain waves cannot be seen.

TAG stands for Theta Alpha Gamma this are respectively low , medium and high frequency brain waves .

Tag synchronisation was predicted and observed in 2010 by Douglas Dailey.

This model according to Douglas Dailey predicted that the brain could better learn to self-regulate its own awake state by using technology to monitor and feedback its own moment -by -moment synchronization in other words cross frequency coupling of its theta alpha ,gamma and other brain waves.

Our brain consists of five different types of brain waves namely delta ,theta ,alpha ,beta and gamma.

During TAG sync training, clients first work on theta and alpha synchrony .

Later they work on the synchrony of theta and gamma,alpha and gamma,and cross frequency coupling.

Gamma waves are implicated in high levels of cognitive performance ,synaptic potentiation
and learning.

They work by generating a sense of insight ,pleasure and satisfaction.

Theta ,Alpha and Gamma synchrony frequently trains with eyes open.

This is particularly useful when training children on the autism spectrum.
