The Gist of the Book and More on the Author
This is a book that seeks to define the typical life of an empath, the beautiful gifts they have been given as well as the pain that comes with being an empath. It also offers solutions for dealing with the most of the pain so as to become what the author refers to as an empowered empath.
An empowered empath is an empath who knows the gifts they have been given and how well to work with them to feel more fulfilled in life they way they are.
If you are also wondering who an empath is, it is simply someone who is more of an “emotional sponge”. These are people mostly like myself who find themselves absorbing other people’s emotions, energy and physical symptoms into their bodies.
They are highly intuitive, deep, highly sensitive and connected to nature.
They simply feel at a deeper level what others are feeling.
And this can be very tricky if you don’t know how to handle it wisely since it comes with so many challenges.
That is why the empath’s survival guide was published, to help guide you as an empath to live a happier healthier life.
The author of the book is Judith Orloff. She is a well known author who majors in psychiatry, intuitive development and medicine. She has had quite a number of books published including Positive Energy, Second Sight, Dr. Judith Orloff’s Guide to Intuitive Healing and Emotional Freedom.
I have seen many people say that the Emotional Freedom has been of great help to them. So it is a book I also recommend you get.

Some More Meat of the Book
Having known fairly much about the book thus far, I would also like to let you in on some meat of the book.
Firstly, the author has cleared the mist of the difference between having empathy and being an empath, and it is a clear one. She has explained very well how having empathy is more of a feeling of having your heart go out to others while being an empath is much more than that.
I can’t quite use my words to explain but the way Judith explains is really deep and more understandable.
She also goes into how people become empaths, with some inheriting it from their parents and many other ways, although she says that there is no actual cause that all empaths have had to become what they are.
I loved the way she has delved into the science behind empaths and how it is connected to mirror neurons. Here, she goes deep into the inner feelings and characteristics of an empath as well as how they feel on the outside and how most handle it.
On top of that, she explains how they should handle different inner feelings, different situations with people who are termed as blamers, narcissists, criticizers and all other people who bring negative energy around them.
I have to say that Judith has covered almost all there is to being a positive and a really empowered empath. So it is more of a comprehensive guide to making the most of the person you are.
The Best Place to Buy The Book
I always recommend getting the book from www.amazon.com because of the great reputation it has as the best online store in the world and the good services that it offers. I also find it very convenient as it offers even the summary of the book that will help you in reading the book more exhaustively, and for future references as well.
It also saves time to buy the book there as you can order it together with the things you had planned to get for your house or work, all at once.
My Personal Thoughts on The Book
Personally, I find the book to be very informative and insightful because it first sheds light to folks who are wondering if they are empaths. I know many people out there who get hurt almost often because they feel other people’s pain more than those who are actually having the pain.
And you can’t help them because they don’t know how to handle the feeling with caution.
The fact that the book has been written by a professional who is well versed in this area, I think it is now easier to give the book to a person you see suffering because of this as they will be able to connect with the book well and get help from it.
The content of the book has covered the most part of an empath’s life which means it might advice them on an area they may be struggling with at the moment.
Yes, it is that handy.
Overall, I would say that the book is filled with gems of advice, with lots of value to take from and I highly recommend getting it for personal use.
And that it is pretty much it with the book.
