Your partner has done things that got you really bitter and hurt, right? But you want to learn how to forgive and forget in a relationship so that you bring all these things behind you and move forward with life, as a couple, isn’t it?
Well, I have to admit that some words and deeds can be very hard to forgive.
But when you think about it, your own peace’s sake and your future, you will see that, even though extremely painful, it is still possible and necessary to forgive if you truly love the person and are determined to do it.
And I will be showing you a great approach that can help you master the trait of forgiveness, and get over the pains, you have now, completely.
Let’s jump right in and see what we have here. 🙂
My Opinion On Relationships
We all have different personalities, and different ways of doing things. And we might say or do things that, to us, may not sound bad or hurting when they actually are to others.
We may hurt our partners, whether wife, husband, boyfriend or girlfriend without recognizing it. Although, there are others who do bad things intentionally.
But if we are really in love and have high hopes for our future, it is important that we understand each other, and learn to live with each other’s weaknesses, for we will never find a completely perfect partner in this life.
For this, I discovered that the best thing to do when you have a partner is to build new character traits that will help you accommodate them in your life, with all their “dark sides”.
The very first of these traits that should be worked on is forgiveness, as this will help you keep things going well as you build other traits like patience, quietness and silence and others.
It will help you have a temporary solution as you build the main, permanent one which will take quite some time.
And there is a very good forgiveness training system that I found to address this aspect of forgiveness thoroughly from all angles and gives a comprehensive approach which made me happy.
I will be telling you all about it.
The Forgiveness Training Program I Really Loved
The training program I am telling you about is the Choice of Forgiveness.
It is designed to help build true forgiveness into your mind and heart, such that you are able to understand and put into practice the understanding and new perspective you have gotten.
And it is really very effective in this area.
I prefer it a hundred times over other systems because it has used an approach I found very efficient and considerate. (which I will be revealing to you in a short while)
They use 3 approaches, giving you theoretical knowledge and understanding of forgiveness, practical training with exercises to use, and emotional healing sessions to help rewire your brain and even take away the hate and bitterness that you currently have about the mistakes the partner did.
With these 3 things, you are well on your way to gaining a firm trait of forgiveness.
How it Works
Using the 3 approaches, I will try to explain how the system is set to work.
Starting with theoretical knowledge and understanding, they have provided an extremely valuable book called “Letting Yourself off the Hook”.
This resource is packed with insight and enlightening concepts that will give a completely new way of looking at things. There are also powerful quotes you can take from it that will impact your life in a huge way.
To give you an idea, there are great topics discussed like considering the situation from both sides (deeper than what I’d known), and a spiritual exercise that you will find quite interesting.
It has no link to the Bible or Quran, or any religion, it something anyone out there can use.
In the practical aspect, there’s another book called the “Transformational Exercises Workbook” that will come in handy with exercises you can use to grow self control and forgiveness slowly by slowly.
These are what will help you grow strong character wise and in mind, which, in good time will change your whole experience of life.
Finally, there is my favorite aspect, the emotional healing approach.
This is the part I bonded with the most, not because it is the best of all other approaches, but because I’m a very emotional person myself which makes me all the more fit for it.
Here, there are sessions that help you release emotional baggage and perfect your ability of forgive and forget hurtful things.
There are 2 CDs, one is the subliminal healing sessions that help convince you that you are strong and wise enough to forgive as well as not ever be hurt with what you have already forgiven.
It is best to listen when you are putting the exercises into practice.
The second one is a guided meditation session for healing.
This one is more like a quick fix when you are in deep pain. You should listen to it when you feel the most hurt and the hardest to forgive.
It is also good for completing the day’s effort towards developing the attribute being discussed, after you have read the theory, done the exercises and heard the subliminal sessions.
How to Use The Choice of Forgiveness
Well, it is as simple as this:
Spare a few minutes in the morning or evening, or even spread the tasks and do 2 in the morning and the 2 at night.
• Read “letting yourself off the hook” book for 10 minutes
• Read “Transformational Exercises Workbook”
• Listen to the subliminal sessions to help you get strength to put the exercises into practice
• Listen to the guided meditation for healing.
And that is simply it.
This is where I rest my case.
